Universal cylindrical grinder URS 500 N

The URS 500 N universal cylindrical grinder is suitable for carrying out external cylindrical grinding operations for workpieces with a diameter of up to 200 mm; Thanks to the standard internal grinding device, the application area is further expanded. The application area of this machine is mainly: mechanical operations, tool manufacturing and forming, but also small series finishing.

Properties

• The table can be tilted for conical grinding and set to the desired position using a scale
• The grinding spindle head can be rotated 180° for internal grinding
• The main spindle is hydrodynamically supported, meaning that a film of oil prevents contact between the bearing and the spindle
• Longitudinal table guide and transverse guide of the grinding spindle head, each with a V-shaped and flat guide
• Thanks to the strong ribs and large walls
• The base of the machine is relatively insensitive to temperature changes and deformation
• The oil film between the bearing and the spindle minimizes vibrations,
• in order to obtain high surface quality and precision
