Universal cylindrical grinder URS 1000 N

The URS 1000 N universal cylindrical grinder is suitable for carrying out external cylindrical grinding operations for workpieces with a diameter of up to 320 mm; Thanks to the standard internal grinding device, the application area is further expanded. The application area of this machine is mainly: mechanical operations, tool manufacturing and forming, but also small series finishing.

Properties

• The oil film between the bearing and the spindle reduces vibrations to a minimum: in this way it is possible to obtain precision and a good surface finish
• The large table can be tilted for conical grinding in two different positions and set to the desired position using a scale
• Precisely aligned spindle head and stable grinding spindle head for the best possible machining results in a variety of grinding processes
• Thanks to strong ribs and large walls, the machine base is relatively insensitive to temperature changes and deformation
• Grinding spindle mounted on both sides with tri-segmented and subsequently adjustable surface bearings
• The main spindle is hydrodynamically supported, meaning that a film of oil prevents contact between the bearing and the spindle
• The longitudinal movement of the table takes place manually via handwheel or automatically via hydraulic power
• Continuously adjustable advancement with possibly pre-selectable waiting time at the end of each movement phase
• The resetting of the grinding spindle head occurs hydraulically or using a handwheel
• Precision hardened and hand scraped guides in the x and y axes
• Longitudinal table guide and transverse guide of the grinding spindle head, each with a V-shaped and flat guide
