- Optimized for use in the workshop and during assembly
- For cutting electrodes from 1.0 – 4.0 mm
- Minimum grinding of the material on the electrode of only 0.3 mm via the adjustment gauge, therefore up to 200 regrindings are possible instead of only 50 – 100
- The electrode does not light up during the sanding process
- Sanding angle continuously adjustable from 15 to 180°
- Integrated suction with P3 dust filter for optimal user protection
- Precise guidance of the electrode in the clamping holder
- For electrode lengths up to 22 mm
- Also available for grinding short electrodes (up to 15 mm) e.g. for orbital welding systems, collets required as accessories
- Three grinding planes of the diamond disc can be used with a simple adjustment, thus three times the life of the disc
- Electrodes with metal drops can also be ground directly, saving time and electrode ablation
- Powerful 850 watt motor
Why grind electrodes?
To avoid ignition and arc problems in TIG DC (DC) welding, the electrodes must be sharply ground for the current flow! In TIG AC (AC) welding, a phase must be grounded on the electrode for a narrow arc of Ø 1.6 mm in the direction of the current flow!
