Special tool that allows a smooth and precise squaring of the edges in the 90° corner, after the mortise has been roughed out by hand or by machine. The forged polished blade is made of traditional Cr-Mn steel and is heat treated to 59 HRc. The ergonomic handle made of hard, heavy hornbeam wood is strong enough to withstand heavy blows with a hammer.

The combination of the dyed hornbeam handle, the brass ferrule and the improved sharpness of the blade create a unique design of the instrument.

The chisels are supplied with the 8717 chisel edge protector, which is also suitable for carpenter's chisels.
